CADA-SA2H Series is a dual-bay disk array from Cavalry. It offers a good combination of RAID data protection and the most advanced eSATA technology for speed and increased data storage capacity. The system is capable of yielding maximum throughput of 3.0Gbit/sec (eSATA). CADA-SA2H features swappable hard disks and built-in RAID controller.

The unit comes pre-configured in RAID 1 to ensure maximum protection to the data. RAID I helps in building automatic background of data. In case one drive fails, users may replace it with an identical disk so that data will be automatically rebuilt in the second drive. CADA-SA2H can also be configured to RAID 0 for increased data reading and writing speeds. Thus it provides maximum optimization of its capacity and performance according to the requirements. The SATA interface also allows faster boot process and quick loading of programs.

CADA-SA2H is available in 1TB and 2TB configurations. It comes pre-formatted to Mac OS X Extended, but allows plug and play for Windows 2000 and newer in GUI mode. Other interfaces supported include USB 2.0 (480Mbps). The unit consists of two 3.5” hard disk drives in a dual-bay configuration. It is packed in a black aluminum case with and features a large 2” fan for maximum heat dissipating abilities.
