Cavalry CADB-U32 Series is a dual-bay disk array that delivers a maximum capacity of 2TB with a USB 2.0 interface. It features a solid aluminum case and a large cooling fan to dissipate the heat maximum. CADB-U32 also sports a hot swappable plug and play design. CADB-U32 comes pre-formatted for use with Windows, but can be reformatted for use with Mac as well.
The CADB-U32 can be configured in both BIG and JBOD. In BIG, the drive functions as a single, lard drive offering the combined capacity. In JBOD configuration, it is recognized as two separate drives. CADB-U32 does not support RAID.
CADB-U32 is available in different capacities: 1TB, 1.5 TB and 2TB. The unit consists of two 3.5” hard disk drives in a dual-bay configuration. The USB 2.0 interface allows maximum transfer rate of 480MBps. The interface is backward compatible with USB 1.1.
