Iomega Home Media Network Hard Drive is a network attached storage (NAS) device for the digital home. Built on EMC’s LifeLine software, Home Media Network Hard Drive allows users to centralize their computer storage and access them on a variety of devices such as laptops, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, or a big screen TV. The system allows file access/sharing from any netwoked Windows PC or Apple computer. It is compatible with UPnP AV Media Server and iTunes Server, making it easier to stream multimedia contents. It is expandable by connecting external USB hard disk drives. The system supports FAT32 and NTFS formatted hard drives.
