AiO SB600c Storage Blade is enclosed within the BladeSystem that consists of an HP ProLiant BL460c server and an SB40c Storage Blade. With its simple architecture and easy-to-deploy interface, the AiO SB600c Storage enables small and mid-sized businesses to affordably manage growth and protect their data without the complexity of external storage. The iSCSI connectivity uses the server’s embedded NIC to interface to the AiO SB600c Storage Blade in the enclosure.
AiO Storage Manager (ASM), an important feature provided in AiO SB600c, provides a straight-forward user interface for setup and ongoing maintenance, allowing users to expand data areas, migrate data from capacity constrained servers, implement disk and tape backup policies, and set up end-user file shares without requiring specialist knowledge in the technology. To speed deployment time, AiO SB600c comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003.
