Sonnet Technology Fusion R400Q - RAID Data Recovery Services

Sonnet Fusion R400Q is a quad-interface Rackmount storage system providing up to 6TB of storage in four swappable drive modules. Offering high speed, versatility and reliability, Fusion R400Q serves the digital content creation and editing applications.

Fusion R400Q employs a high performance SATA II port multiplier to manage the enclosed drives. The enclosure is connected to the SATA host controller card using a single locking data cable, thus eliminating the cable clutter without compromising performance. Apart from the high-speed eSATA connectivity, Fusion R400Q is also provided with FireWire 800, FireWire 400, and USB interfaces allowing greater flexibility.

With a Sonnet Tempo SATA E4P PCIe or X4P PCI-X host controller, a Fusion R400Q system’s drives can be accessed through its port multiplier at maximum speed, whether configured as a RAID 0, 1, 10, or JBOD set. Configured as a RAID 0 striped set, a single Fusion R400Q system achieves data throughput of up to 220MB/sec. To increase the data throughput and other performance features, up to four Fusion R400Q systems can be ganged on a single Tempo SATA E4P or X4P controller.

Fusion R400Q system enclosure is just 1.75″ tall and is easy to deploy in most server racks. The system works in Mac, Windows and Linux environments and is compatible with Sonnet Tempo SATA II PCI-X, PCIe, and ExpressCard/34 host controllers.
