Arco DD3 MicroRAID - RAID Data Recovery Services

Arco DD3 MicroRAID features the DupliDisk3 (DD3) RAID 1 drive monitoring technology to provide real-time backup protection for IDE drives where bus slots and extra drive bays are unavailable. The important aspect of MicroRAID is its compactness- it does not occupy the space more than a standard floppy drive, so this is the ideal solution for systems that do not have available slots or drive bays. The DD3 MicroRAID was designed specifically for small footprint computer systems, such as point of sale (POS), where space is the most important.

DD3 MicroRAID features patented IDE (PATA) RAID mirroring technology. It packs two 2.5” IDE drives plus an IDE RAID mirroring controller into a single unit that will fit perfectly into any 3.5″ drive bay. This platform-independent system does not require BUS slot, IRQs (interrupt requests), TSRs (terminate and stay resident) or device drivers. It sends data to both drives simultaneously so there’s no lag time and no performance hit.

To install MicroRAID, users have to connect the IDE drives with the cables provided and run the easy mirroring utility provided in the package. As soon as it is installed, it will provide the minute backup and automatic failure protection. Each time the user saves data, the MicroRAID automatically sends the information to both drives so that they have a duplicate of all the information in the drives. In case one of the drives fails, the system sounds an alarm indicating that the drive needs to be replaced, while the other drive takes over the computer functions automatically.

Dealing with data loss/failed disk can be very frustrating at times. To select the best solution, choose WeRecoverData, a reputed name in the industry.
